NEW KIDS ON THE BLOG - TAKE TWO

In a short follow-up to an earlier post, the Scituate school system has joined the handful of other local school districts, including Boston, and have created their own blog.

The blog, titled CSI Situate (CSI standing for Central Source for Information), "posts information of importance such as: School Committee Meeting highlights, reference to Mariner articles, selectman or advisory meeting commentary, etc.," according to the blog's description.

However, it appears the authors don't know exactly what they're doing just yet. Yes, we're all still learning, especially this author, but the men or women behind the scenes of CSI Scituate have posts for Oct. 24 and 25 where only the headline appears and no working body text.

I have to give the authors credit, though. It doesn't read like the marshmallow fluff on the Boston Public Schools blog.

Will they ever get the hang of blogging at CSI Scituate? Will it be the inspiration for yet another CBS crime drama?
